Cozy Acres Fire Declared Arson

DUBOIS – Investigators say a fire that displaced three businesses in Sandy Township was caused by arson.

The fire sparked overnight April 11, gutting the building that housed Cozy Acres (formerly Rustic Acres), the DuBois terminal of Fullington Auto Bus Co. and Diamond Auto Glass.

Over the weekend, Sandy Township Police and state police fire marshals released information stating that the fire was, in fact, an arson.

Police say the investigation continues, and anyone with information that may aid police in their work is asked to contact Sandy Township Police at 371-4220.

Both the Fullington terminal and Diamond Auto Glass have since relocated.
