RHJ Drug Treatment Center Set for Public Hearing on Monday

DUBOIS – Citizens and property owners will have their chance to address RHJ Medical Center Inc. management during a public hearing before DuBois City Council on Monday night.

DuBois City Council approved Monday as the date for landowners within 500 feet of 994 Beaver Drive to ask questions and offer comments to representatives of RHJ Medical Center Inc.

At a January meeting of council, representatives asked council for the opportunity to hold the public hearing so that they might re-open their facility at 994 Beaver Drive. City Council and the medical center’s management had been at odd’s over a number of items since the RHJ opened late last year. The facility was eventually shut down as part of an agreement between the City of DuBois and the medical center.

The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the city building in DuBois.
