Governor Orders Flags at Half Staff

HARRISBURG – Gov. Edward G. Rendell ordered that Pennsylvania flags at state facilities be flown at half staff through sunset on April 22 in
memory of the victims of Monday’s mass shooting at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.

The governor’s directive follows a similar order issued by the White House to lower the U.S. flag.
