Early Morning Convenience Store Robbery

DUBOIS – DuBois City Police are looking for the public’s help in nabbing a robbery suspect.

At about 6:30 Wednesday morning, police were called to a robbery in progress at the North Main Street Uni-Mart.

A white male was said to have jumped on the counter before taking an undetermined amount of cash that was in plain view.

The man then fled the store on foot, running east on West Long Avenue.

The man is believed to be in his early 20s with a stocky build. He was wearing a faded black hooded sweatshirt with a blue handkerchief partially covering his face. He was also wearing light-colored blue jeans.

The man has light brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information that might be able to assist police in their investigation is asked to call 371-2323.
