BROOKVILLE – The preliminary hearing date for a DuBois native Jason Robert Clinger has been moved to March.
Clinger is accused of the double homicide of Davon Jones and Dianikqua Johnson, both of New York. Their bodies were found by a hunter along Moore Road in Pine Creek Township in Jefferson County in November.
The affidavit of probable cause points out that planned to kill Jones “and other black people” by shooting them in the head. He stated that no one would know because the intended victims were from out of state.
Clinger is being held in Jefferson County Jail without bail.
According to Magisterial District Judge Richard Beck’s office, the new hearing date is March 30. The date was moved at the request of the Jefferson County Public Defender’s Office.
