With Clearfield and Curwensville being considered more \”football and wrestling\” schools, it may come as a surprise that after the first couple of weeks of the winter sports season, all of the basketball teams have winning records; while the wrestling teams are below .500.
The Purchase Line Lions Club Tournament will host both the Clearfield (4-3) and Curwensville (4-2) boys teams on December 29 and 30.
The Penns Manor Holiday Tournament will host both the Clearfield (3-2) and Curwensville (5-1) girls teams on December 29 and 30. Perhaps a rematch of last week\’s feature game will take place?
The Clearfield (2-3) wrestling team will return for the second time to the Brockway Big Dog Tournament on December 28 and 29.
The Tide (1-2) matmen will travel to Redbank Valley Tournament on December 29 and 30.
