CLEARFIELD – Police served a warrant on a Clearfield man on Wednesday for a theft he was viewed committing on video tape.
According to Clearfield Borough Police, James McGuire was caught on tape on Dec. 7 stealing over $200 in cigarettes.
McGuire was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James Hawkins. He is being held in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $10,000 straight bail.
A 17-year-old boy was also involved with this theft and charges are were filed through Clearfield County Juvenile Probation.
Police were assisted with serving the warrant by Lawrence Township Police Department.
