DUBOIS – Two people were arrested for incidents at the DuBois Regional Medical Center on Tuesday.
DuBois City Police Department reported they were called to DRMC-West for a purse thief that was detained by hospital security. Police found that 19-year-old Joshua Good of DuBois had attempted to steal a purse from a secretary’s office.
Hospital security also informed police that there may have been other people attempting to break into vehicles in the hospital parking lot.
Police then located 19-year-old Trisha Snyder in a vehicle in the parking lot. Through investigation of the vehicle, police learned that the 1986 Dodge Ram Charger was stolen from a South Brady Street resident in Sandy Township.
Good was charged with criminal conspiracy, theft of a purse, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Snyder was charged with criminal conspiracy, theft of a purse, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Patrick N. Ford.
Good and Snyder are being held in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of straight bail. Good’s bail is set at $50,000 and Snyder’s is set at $10,000.
DuBois City Police thanked hospital security and the citizens who helped at the hospital.
