CLEARFIELD – A man who sold Ecstasy to confidential informants and was one of the people arrested in the DuBois-area drug bust earlier in the year was sentenced Monday.
David Sigvaldsen, 25, DuBois, pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. Clearfield County Judge Paul E. Cherry sentenced Sigvaldsen to nine months to three years at a state correctional institution. Sigvaldsen must also submit to DNA testing and complete drug and alcohol counseling at Gateway.
Sigvaldsen was also sentenced to four years probation consecutive to the above sentence.
Sigvaldsen made the sales to the confidential informants in January at different locations in the DuBois area.
