Attempted Burglary in Curwensville

CURWENSVILLE – According to Curwensville Borough Police Department, someone tried to break into the City Drug Store around 3 a.m. Monday morning.
Police stated that someone broke the drive-through window at the pharmacy in an attempt to gain entry. After searching the building, police determined there was no entry into the store.

This marks the second time in a week and a half that an area pharmacy has been targeted by burglars. On Nov. 11, the Medicine Shoppe in Clearfield was burglarized for the second time in almost seven months. On Nov. 11 a man wearing black brandished a handgun to the clerk and made off with OxyContin and OxyCodone.
