Black Bear Reported in East End

CLEARFIELD – Was there a black bear in Clearfield’s East End Thursday morning?

Clearfield Borough Police received a report that there was, specifically a 300-pound one that was on Daisy Street at 9 a.m. The caller also said that the bear was heading toward the Uni-Mart.

Police checked the area but said they did not find a bear there.
