Road Work Planned in Centre County; Penn Staters Coming Early Should Plan Ahead

POTTERS MILLS – Motorists traveling U.S. Route 322 near Potters Mills, Centre County, can expect to encounter delays Friday as PennDOT installs edge line rumble strips through its four-mile long work zone. The work will take place Friday only — from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Message boards and flaggers will be in place, with traffic alternating through the work zone.

Delays should be no longer than 15 minutes.

This weekend is Penn State homecoming, and motorists traveling to Penn State on Friday are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Drivers are advised to remain alert for slowed or stopped traffic, obey posted speed limits, and always buckle up.
