CLEARFIELD – She has been through Tribal Council, Reward and Immunity challenges and two days on the island of Palau.
“Wacky Wanda,” otherwise known as Wanda Shirk of Ulysses, is the English teacher who never became part of a tribe on CBS’ 10th installment of the popular “Survivor” series, but she will be in Clearfield Oct. 4 to share her experiences from the show and her real life. Shirk’s visit is part of the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet and awards ceremony.
Awards to be given next week include Small Business of the Year, Major Employer of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Distinguished Citizen of the Year and The Shining Star Award.
