OTSL Playoffs Continue

Clearfield — The second night of the Old Town Softball League playoffs had an elimination game and an upset.

The early game between the first round losers was won by Moyer\’s Auto Body over Jim\’s Sports Center, 10-8.

Mike Green was the winner for Moyer\’s, while Dak Rea picked up the save. Mike Sedgewick had a 2-run homer and added another RBI in the game that eliminates Jim\’s Sports Center from title contention.

In the night cap, the winner\’s bracket game featured the \”newbies\” from Legends upending the veteran Bob Boob Garage team, 7-2.

Picking up the win for Legends was Lucky Prestash, while Larry Conklin absorbed the loss.

Thursday\’s playoff action continues with BBG and Moyers\’ squaring off at 6:30. The loser is eliminated, while the winner takes on Legends in the late game at approximately 8:00 PM. If Legends wins, they will be the OTSL playoff champions.

If Legends is upended tonight, the championship game will take place on Sunday night at the conclusion of the Past Your Prime Tournament.
