CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners approved a fourth real estate sales option agreement on Thursday for a proposed public assistance office in the Professional Office Park.
The other three were approved at Tuesday’s regular meeting of the commissioners. One group, Hudson Holding Company, LP out of Hermitage, did not have their paperwork with them. Because the company’s paperwork to the Department of Public Welfare is due on Monday, the commissioners held a special meeting to approve te agreement.
Clearfield County Commissioner Rex Read said with the number of companies bidding on the project, it increased the odds of getting the project done.
The lot companies are looking at is behind the 911 Call Center. The land consists of a little over 1.8-acres. The land in the park is sold for $25,000 per acre.
