Woman arrested for prostitution in Brookville

BROOKVILLE – An Ohio woman was taken into custody Tuesday on charges that she accepted money for a sexual act.

Members of the state police Troop C Vice Unit conducted a prostitution sting at the Truckstop of America in Brookville Borough, Jefferson County, after receiving numerous complaints about alleged prostitution activities in the parking lot.

Latosha M. Morris, 26, of Toledo, Ohio, was arrested after taking money from an undercover state trooper for a purported sex act, according to police.

Morris was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Douglas Chambers on prostitution counts. She was taken to Jefferson County Jail where she is being held in lieu of $2,500 straight bail.
