OSCEOLA MILLS – Perhaps no where else and no other time in Clearfield County can one plop a lawn chair in the yard of a complete stranger and still be invited in to share some traditional picnic fare.
The Osceola Mills Fourth of July parade and carnival is an annual homecoming where new friends are made and old ones are found once again.
The parade was sprinkled with a few raindrops, but the fire trucks, floats and performing groups never stopped, celebrating the nation’s independence with tradition.
Reliance Fire Co. of Philipsburg brought even more tradition to the Osceola Mills parade with this (stuffed) Dalmatian. (Dawn Walls)
