CLEARFIELD – A combined investigation with Clearfield Borough Police and Lawrence Township Police led to the arrest of two and the recovery of a stolen vehicle, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
At about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Clearfield Borough Police received information about the location of a vehicle that was stolen from Lawrence Township. Officers recovered that vehicle behind Central Environmental Services on Chester Street.
Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township police conducted a combined investigation, and during the course of that, marijuana plants were reportedly found in a trailer at the Shady Grove Trailer Court on Spruce Street.
Officers obtained a search warrant, and with the aid of Curwensville Borough Police and a K-9 Unit, more drugs and drug paraphernalia were found.
Christine Wilson of Lancaster was arrested as a result of the police investigation. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Hawkins and placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. Wilson is charged with receiving stolen property and tampering with physical evidence.
Rafeal Mojica, also of Lancaster, was incarcerated at CCJ on a bench warrant issued in Lancaster.
Police report that more people are set to be charged as a result of the investigation, specifically a juvenile and another Lancaster woman. Those charges will include possession of a controlled substance.
