CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man who led police on a 10-mile chase after officers attempted to stop him for speeding is in Clearfield County Jail.
Lawrence Township Police report that Brian Pierson of Clearfield was observed speeding by officers Thursday afternoon. Police say Pierson would not stop, leading officers on a pursuit that covered 10 miles. When Pierson finally stopped his vehicle, he ran from his vehicle.
An officer was able to apprehend Pierson after a short chase. Pierson was arraigned and placed in CCJ in lieu of $25,000 straight bail.
