PennDOT to place speed sign

CLEARFIELD – Drivers on Woodland Road in Clearfield Borough’s East End will find a new sign beginning Wednesday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will place a speed display sign near Kurtz Park, which will make drivers more aware of the posted speed limit on Woodland Road.

The portable speed display sign will be on location for about one week.  It is hoped that the device will help local residents and travelers for Thrills in the Hills, which is scheduled for June 2-4.
