Trick-or-treat nights and related activities have been announced for several municipalities throughout Clearfield County.

  • Bradford Township, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Oct. 28;  The Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Fire Co. will be open during trick-or-treat hours for Halloween and fire prevention.  Everyone is welcome to visit the fire company.
  • Clearfield Borough, Oct. 31, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Cooper Township, Oct. 31, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • DuBois City, Oct. 31, 4:30 p.m., parade downtown; 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., door-to-door trick-or-treating
  • Curwensville Borough, Oct. 28, 1 p.m., parade; trick-or-treating follows until 4 p.m.
  • Lawrence Township, Oct. 31, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Osceola Mills Borough, 5 – 7 p.m., Oct. 31
  • Sandy Township, Oct. 31, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

GRAMPIAN – The Grampian Lions Club will host a parade and Trunk or Treat event Oct. 28. It will take place from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Grampian Community Park.

Penfield

Crew 509 to Host Fall Festival

PENFIELD – Crew 509 will host its first-ever fall festival at Camp Mountain Run in Penfield.

It will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Oct. 28 and feature kids games and activities, crafts, food and other vendors and scouting activities and demonstrations.

There is a $5 admission fee with proceeds benefiting improvements at Camp Mountain Run.

Crew 509 to Present Haunted House, Hike

PENFIELD – Crew 509 will present a haunted house and hike Oct. 27-28 at Camp Mountain Run in Penfield.

These spooky events will take place from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Cost is $5 for the Haunted House and $4 for the guided spook hollow hike.

Proceeds will benefit improvements to be made at Camp Mountain Run.
