An incident of DUI occurred at 12:48 a.m. Sunday along state Route 948 in Fox Township, Elk County. A 43-year-old Ridgway woman was stopped for a routine traffic stop, and after a preliminary investigation, she was arrested for DUI and transported for blood testing at the Elk Regional Health Center. A 55-year-old woman had been watching two young children who belonged to a 28-year-old woman. A hit-and-run was reported to state police. The incident occurred on May 8 along East Pine Street. An unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound and struck the rear of a vehicle parked along the road.
