An incident of harassment occurred at approximately 5 p.m. May 19 on Hill Street in Chester Hill Borough, Clearfield County. A 26-year-old Philipsburg woman was allegedly harassed by a 25-year-old Philipsburg woman with intent to alarm her without any legitimate purposes. A noise complaint was reported from a Walnut Street residence. Police responded to Meadow Street after someone located used hypodermic needles just off Rails to Trails. Police would like to advise residents not to handle needles and to contact police for them to be properly disposed. An incident of simple assault occurred at 2:30 a.m. May 19 near West Presqueisle and Front streets in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 26-year-old man allegedly struck a known 30-year-old woman in face, causing severe bruising around her eye and a laceration on her cheek.
