WOOSTER, Ohio — Junior Michael Spencer (Clearfield) anchored the Westminster 200-yard freestyle relay foursome that was victorious at the nine-team College of Wooster Invitational Friday.
His 20.73-second split stopped the clock at 1:24.20.
Spencer also helped three other Titan quartets register double-digit points in the three-day meet
He swam a 46.95 third leg for the 400 free quartet that finished second in 3:07.28, a 21.01 anchor for the 200 medley team that placed seventh in a 1:35.994 and a 46.97 anchor for the ‘B’ 400 medley foursome that placed 10th in 3:33.70.
The Titans accumulated 1,248.5 points to claim second place behind Case Western Reserve (1,899).

AKRON, Ohio — Freshman Tate Swanson (Clearfield) swam the second leg for the Clarion 400-yard freestyle relay team that placed eighth at the five-team Zippy Invitational in Akron University’s Ocasek Natatorium last weekend.
He recorded a 49.46-second split.
Swanson also finished 27th in the 100 free preliminaries with a time of 49.62 seconds.
The Golden Eagles wound up fourth with 1,165 points.

MEN’S BASKETBALL
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Sophomore forward/center Cody Spaid (Clearfield) led Pitt-Greensburg with nine rebounds in a heart-breaking 68-67 loss to host Medaille in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action Saturday.
He also scored eight points with two assists and one block for the Bobcats, who dipped to 0-2 in the AMCC and 1-4 overall when the Mavericks’ Meghale Ford canned two free throws with .3 seconds remaining.
Spaid had six points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block last Wednesday when the Bobcats bowed to visiting Penn State Altoona 77-65 in their AMCC opener.
Spaid’s 35 rebounds have him tied for fourth in the AMCC with a 7.0 average, while his 5.8 defensive rebounds per game are No. 1.
He has 36 points, 11 assists, two steals and five blocks.

DUBOIS — Sophomore center Trey Rauckhorst (Curwensville) scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Penn State DuBois went on the road for its first three Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference games last week.
The Lions, 3-4 overall, defeated Penn State New Kensington 80-64 Tuesday before losing 76-72 at Penn State Mont Alto Friday and 76-63 at Penn State York Saturday.
Rauckhorst had one assist and blocked three shots in their win.
For the season, he has 44 points (6.3 ppg) and 40 rebounds (5.7 rpg) with seven blocked shots and two assists.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Freshman center Christine Limbert (Curwensville) pulled down a game-high eight rebounds for Penn College of Technology last Wednesday night when the Wildcats fell to Keuka 68-35 in their North East Athletic Conference opener.
She had four points and five rebounds two nights earlier in a 64-49 home court loss to Elmira (N.Y.).
Her season totals for six games show 16 points, 35 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
The Wildcats tumbled to 1-7 with NEAC losses to SUNY Cobleskill 49-34 Saturday and Morrisville (N.J.) State 87-69 Sunday.
