JUST IN: LT Police Investigating Peterbilt Truck Theft

CLEARFIELD – Lawrence Township police are investigating the theft of a new Peterbilt truck from a local dealership.

According to police, the incident occurred at Hunter Peterbilt Sales, located on Cresswood Drive in Clearfield. It was reported to police at 10:23 a.m. Sunday.

Police say that unknown suspect(s) entered a blue 2018 Peterbilt and started the truck without a key.  They used the truck to ram into a gate that secured the entrance to the dealership.

The blue truck sustained front-end damage and was left at the scene.  The suspects then allegedly stole a black and white 2018 Peterbilt truck from the dealership.

Police say that the stolen truck was later found by the Yonkers Police Department in Yonkers, NY. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
