Nancy C. Stonebraker of Curwensville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017.
Born July 2, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Thelma (Brown) Palmer.
She was a devoted mother and wife and loved her family and her Lord and Savior. Her hobbies were search word puzzles and watching Golden Girls.
She wed the love of her life, Edward Stonebraker, on March 27, 1955 and who had preceded her in death in 2011.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Shirley, Betty and Sandy; and one brother, Albert.
Surviving are six children, Pam Curry and her husband, Barry, Ed Stonebraker Jr. and his wife, Lynette, Deb Frailey and her husband, Dennis, Bruce Stonebraker and his wife, Cheryl, Diane Zimmerman and her husband, Pete and Sandy Solomon and her husband, Rob; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and two sisters, Anita Miller and Thelma Magno.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville, with Bruce Stonebraker, son, officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
