Punxsutawney PSP Investigating Retail Theft Incident

PUNXSUTAWNEY – State police are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred Monday at the Wal-Mart store in Punxsutawney.

State police say it happened at 4:07 p.m. when two male suspects allegedly walked out without paying for a Life Jacket 3 Rugged Bluetooth speaker.

The speaker was blue/black in color and worth $129, according to the report.

State police described the first male as being 20-35 years old. He’s approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 165 pounds.

He has a dark-colored mustache/goatee and was wearing a white beanie, an orange T-shirt, blue jeans and gray sneakers.

State police described the second male as being 25-35 years old. He’s approximately 6 feet tall and 215 pounds.

He has a full, light brown beard and was wearing a green-colored bandana/beanie, sunglasses, an orange T-shirt with a “C” on the left breast, blue pants and brown shoes.

State police say that the male suspects left in “a 2017 white Chevrolet Cruze, Toyota Cavalier” or similar vehicle.

State police also believe the males could have been wearing work attire due to similarities in their clothing.
