CLEARFIELD – Greg Dixon, campaign chairman, is a part of the Clearfield Area United Way’s volunteer board and campaign team.

CAUW volunteers recently began preparing letters for the upcoming community campaign.

This year’s campaign will help support 23 local member agencies throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County. The goal is to raise $220,000.

“We hope everyone in the communities we serve will make a donation to help us continue to reach out and help others,” Dixon said.

“If you do not receive a letter, we really hope you will still help us. You can by mailing a tax-deductible donation to: United Way, 18 N. Second St., Suite 4, P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830.”

The campaign kick-off will be held at 12 p.m. Oct. 12 at the St. Charles Café Dining Room in Clearfield.
