State police at Philipsburg

  • State police received a report about an incident of theft/criminal mischief that occurred sometime between July 1 and Aug. 11 at the Sandy Ridge Park in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a pedestal charcoal grill from the park, as well as spray painted various items. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.

State police at Punxsutawney

  • State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred Sept. 3-4 at a Juneau Road residence in Punxsutawney. During the incident, someone allegedly took a black and green Hitachi 16” saw bearing as well as two black Lithium ion batteries for a saw. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.

Lawrence Township

  • Police received a report about a large group of people that was engaged in fighting in a parking area of a convenience store on Route 879. However, the people were gone upon police arrival.
  • Police received a report about a hit-and-run that occurred at Target Square.
  • Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness on Daisy Street.
  • Police received a report about a possible DUI incident at Wal-Mart.
  • Police were requested to check the welfare of a child on Washington Avenue.
  • Police received a report about alleged endangerment/interference with child custody.
  • Police received a report about a traffic violation on Turnpike Avenue and Barn Road.
