Lawrence Township Police Conduct Aggressive Driving Enforcement Over Labor Day Weekend

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – Lawrence Township police conducted an aggressive driving enforcement during the Labor Day holiday weekend.

During the enforcement period, police issued 98 citations for speeding and other traffic-related offenses.  Police also say three arrests were made for DUI and six for drug possession and related offenses.

Police noted that there weren’t any alcohol-related crashes reported over the holiday weekend.

Police would like to remind all motorists to buckle up and to watch for school children who are waiting for their buses.
