Patricia A. Harper, 76, of (Glass City) RD Philipsburg, died Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born April 2, 1941 in Osceola Mills, she was a daughter of Ruth Chutko. Her mother preceded her in death.
She was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.
She was also employed throughout her working career with several Philipsburg businesses, including Charles Navasky & Co., Mid-State Airport and Lee Industries.
She was married for 31.5 years to her loving husband, Elmer N. Harper. He preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1989.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Moyer and Delphine Chutko; two infant sisters; and one great-granddaughter.
She is survived by seven daughters, Helen Chutko, Madeline Heichel and her husband, Terry, Ruth Templeton, Karen Wilkinson, Wendy Kelley, Malinda Graham and her husband, Steve, all of Philipsburg, and Ellen Gallaher, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and three sons, Norman Harper and his wife, Teresa of Carlisle and Harold Harper and his wife, Jackie and David Harper and his wife, Doreen, all of Philipsburg.
She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Vaux and her husband, Tom of Loretto and Jackie Sevetsky of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Thomas Chutko of Irvona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, with Pastor Joe Muir officiating.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
