Shirley A. Klett, 81, of Gearhartville, RD Philipsburg, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at the residence of her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Dean Carr.
Born Nov. 19, 1935, in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of Millard and Ann (Molnar) Klett, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of the former Philipsburg High School.
She was a member of the New Life Center, Philipsburg, and of the church’s choir.
She was employed with a number of businesses throughout her career, including, Charles Navasky & Co., Philipsburg, and the former General Cigar plant in Philipsburg.
She is survived by two sisters, Margaret E. Carr and her husband, Maynard “Dean” of Gearhartville, RD Philipsburg, and Alta M. Crain and her husband, Robert of New Bethlehem, Pa.; one brother, Robert Molnar of Oregon; four nieces and a nephew; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, with Pastors John T. Dill and Noel Meyers, co-officiating.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A private family visitation will be held from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg.
Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery, Philipsburg.
