State police at Clearfield

  • State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Thursday in Coalport. During the incident, someone allegedly stole prescription pills from the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.

State police at DuBois

  • State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Thursday in a yard along Route 219 in Snyder Township. During the incident, a Brockway woman allegedly drove a pick-up truck into the victim’s yard and spun out, causing damage to the grass and leaving ruts. Summary charges have been filed through the district court.

State police at Philipsburg

  • State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Nov. 18 on North Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a Philipsburg man allegedly physically touched the victim in an unwanted manner. Charges were filed through the district court as a result.

State police at Punxsutawney

  • On Wednesday state police stopped a DuBois man for summary violations on Route 322 near Fuller Road in Pine Creek Township. He was suspected to be under the influence of marijuana and subsequently evaluated by a drug recognition expert. He was taken to the hospital for a chemical blood test, and charges are currently pending at this time.

State police at Ridgway

  • State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Nov. 16 on Marchiori Road in Horton Township. During the incident, a Brockport man allegedly struck the victim in the face.

Clearfield Borough

  • Police received a report about a domestic dispute on East 10th It was resolved following police arrival to the scene.
  • Police responded to Williams Street after a report about a vehicle that was stuck on the railroad tracks. It was subsequently removed from the railroad tracks.
  • Police responded to a medical emergency on South Second Street. The patient was transported to Penn Highlands, police said.
  • Police responded to a welfare check on Healey Avenue. The patient was transported to Penn Highlands, police said.

Lawrence Township

  • Police received a report about a suspicious male in the Clearfield Mall parking lot.
  • Police received a report about a suspicious male in the parking lot of Sheetz in the area of Route 879 and Interstate 80.
  • Police assisted a motorist on the Rockton Mountain Highway.
  • Police received a report about an intoxicated female at a business on Route 879. She was released to a relative.
  • Police received a report about an intoxicated person at a local business on Race Street.
  • Police received a report about debris on the roadway in the area of Route 879. It was removed from the roadway by police.
  • Police received a report about an alarm at a local business on Route 879.
  • Police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in an alleged drug violation.
  • Police received a report about a civil disorder that occurred in the area of the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop.

Decatur Township

  • Police responded to Log Cabin Lane for trespassing complaints.
  • Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Weitosh’s Garage after a male driver traveled off the roadway to avoid rear-ending another vehicle. His vehicle subsequently struck a parked car. No injuries were reported in the mishap, police said.
  • Police camp upon a vehicle accident that didn’t involve any injuries on the Drane Highway. Further, police found a motorist had lost control of his truck, which was hauling a trailer and overturned.
  • Police responded to Houtzdale for a report about a vehicle that had impacted a deer. The deer wasn’t located, police said.
