Wills for Heroes is a free and easy service that provides Wills, Living Wills and Health Care and Financial Powers of Attorney to first responders and their spouses/partners.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, local volunteer lawyers will be conducting a Wills for Heroes Program for all active and retired Pennsylvania First Responders, all sworn personnel and their spouses/significant others as well as Pennsylvania Military Veterans (proof of affiliation or DD214 required).
The Sept. 24 event will be held at the DuBois Business College, One Beaver Dr., DuBois, PA 15801 beginning at 11 a.m. Appointments for each person last approximately one hour and at the conclusion of it you will have notarized legal documents.
If you are coming with a spouse/significant other, you will have back-to-back appointments, and the computer will automatically schedule a second appointment. You do not need to schedule a separate appointment.
You must be a Pennsylvania resident to make an appointment for the program.
Since appointments are required and must be schedule before Sept. 24, please contact Jan Strosky at 814?762?8871 or Pam Walsh at 814?503?1520 to obtain information in order to schedule an appointment online.
