DUBOIS – Two juveniles who allegedly stole a vehicle in Clearfield Borough were caught in DuBois City, reported the DuBois City police.
According to the report, police were on patrol at approximately 1:15 a.m. Sunday when they witnessed a Subaru traveling without any taillights on Liberty Boulevard. Police proceeded to pull over the vehicle.
During the traffic stop, police allegedly found that the vehicle was being driven by a 15-year-old boy. The boy had a 13-year-old girl in the front, passenger’s seat, police said.
Upon further investigation, police found that the two juveniles had allegedly stolen the vehicle from a Clearfield Borough residence. Both were subsequently taken into custody.
Felony theft charges will be filed against the juveniles by the Clearfield Borough Police Department, police said.
Police released custody of the male juvenile to Clearfield County Juvenile Probation. Police said that the female was released to her father.
