ExploreJefferson: Three Accused of Encouraging Small Child to Smoke Weed

YOUNG TOWNSHIP (EYT) – Three Delancey residents allegedly encouraged a 1-year-old girl to smoke marijuana at a residence located on Adrian Road, in Young Township, Jefferson County, according to state police at Punxsutawney.

The incident took place around 4 p.m. Feb. 17, state police said.

According to state police, the following Delancey individuals engaged in drug activity in the presence of a known 15-year-old girl, a known 1-year-old girl and a known 6-month-old girl, all of Delancey.

  • 40-year-old Thomas J. Fenstermaker
  • 22-year-old Kimberly R. Fenstermaker
  • 36-year-old Leanne J. Clark

State police said that on at least one occasion, the 1-year-old girl was allegedly encouraged to participate in smoking marijuana through a glass pipe.

The three suspects are facing the following charges in District Court 54-3-01:

  • Endangering the Welfare of Children
  • Corruption of Minors

The investigation is ongoing and further charges regarding the Act 64 violations are anticipated in the near future.
