CLEARFIELD – Central Pennsylvania Community Action (CPCA) recently received a $1,000 donation to the Coat Closet Project from Northwest Savings Bank, Northwest Charitable Foundation Inc.
The Coat Closet distributes items to individuals in need from September to the beginning of April. Items available for distribution include winter and spring coats, hats, gloves, scarves and boots.
The donation will be used to supplement the needs of the Coat Closet, such as purchasing coats in sizes in high demand. Donations are always needed especially children’s sizes, infant to teenager.
Also, men’s and women’s large, 1x, 2x and 3x coat sizes are needed.

Last year, the CPCA served more than 15,700 unduplicated individuals through its vast array of services. The CPCA’s primary services includes housing services, weatherization, rental housing, case management, food services, heating and utility assistance, employment assistance and training, consumer information and referral, and transportation services.
