Campus Corner: Wriglesworth Leads Off in Relay Win for Cal U.

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Sophomore Krystal Wriglesworth (Clearfield) swam the backstroke leg for the victorious California University of Pennsylvania ‘A’ 200-yard medley relay team in wins over host Fairmont State 116-64 and Davis & Elkins (W.Va.) 104-82 Friday evening.

She turned in a 29.97-second split that helped the Vulcan foursome post a 1:53.72 in the Feaster Center Pool.

Wriglesworth placed third against both opponents in the 50 free with a season-best 27.37 clocking.

She also had a 27.08 third split for the Vulcan ‘B’ 200 free relay quartet that was second against Davis & Elkins and third against Fairmont State in 1:47.48.
