10 Keys to Healthy Aging Workshops

You can take ownership of your health and attend educational workshops to learn about the 10 Keys to healthy aging and the many no-cost and low-cost preventative services provided by Medicare to help keep you healthy. The free workshops are taught by certified health ambassadors and APPRISE counselors at the Curwensville Community Center.

The Reitz Theater in DuBois will conclude its 2014 season with Jean Shepherd’s holiday classic, A Christmas Story on Dec. 11-13 at 7:30 p.m.
This year’s production will also include a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots. Those attending are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the show.
Tickets are $10 for adults, seniors and students are $8 and Kids 12 and under are $5. Tickets are available at Kohlhepp’s True Value Hardware, Rosie’s Book Shop, Ms. Cat’s Cache and S&T Bank on Liberty Boulevard, all located in DuBois.

Performed by the children, this musical features “Isaiah Jones” as a young hero adventurer who finds himself and his friends inside a video game, searching for the “Lost Christmas Treasure.”
There’s action and adventure galore as you’re transported into a video game world or mystery, intrigue and adrenaline-generating Christmas fun. This production includes dancing cacti, sand princesses, soloists, gummy worms and the traditional “manger scene” characters.
