Clearfield Borough
- The investigation is continuing into an alleged incident of theft of a motor vehicle. Further, a 1999 Ford Ranger “sport” was taken from a parking lot along North Third Street on Wednesday evening. It’s white in color and has the word “sport” on the truck bed. The truck also had extended fender flares and a black tool box in the bed.
- Police unlocked a vehicle along Nichols Street.
- Police received a report about a male who was on a roof on South Third Street. Upon arrival police were unable to locate anyone.
- An electronic ankle bracelet was turned over to police after it was located in a dumpster near Lower Witmer Park. Police contacted the appropriate agency, which will retrieve the device.
- Police received an alleged trespassing complaint that occurred along Daisy Street. However, police did not locate anyone inside the residence.
- Police received a report about three syringe needles being inside a drain on Nichols Street. Further, police retrieved and disposed of the needles.
- Police assisted with a psychological emergency along South Fourth Street. The male, police said, was transported to the hospital.
- Police received a report about an alleged disturbance on West Front Street.
- Police responded to Reighard Street for a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Upon arrival police found that a small child played with the phone and dialed it.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a student at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center who allegedly had alcohol in their possession. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged drug violation that occurred at the CCCTC. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency that occurred at the CCCTC.
- Police received a report about a student who was allegedly being disorderly at the CCCTC.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of access device fraud and theft. Further, an individual’s debit card was allegedly used in another state.
- Police received a report about a phone scam in which the caller claimed to be from the federal grant department.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct at a local apartment. The individuals, police said, were separated and advised to cease contact with each other.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct at a local business.
Sandy Township
- On Wednesday, a 58-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that she struck a deer with her vehicle near the intersection of Bay and Caribbean roads in Treasure Lake. No injuries and minor to moderate damage were reported, police said.
- On Thursday, police received a report about two young men who attended the Highland Street School and who were allegedly trespassing on a neighbor’s property and smoking cigarettes. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Thursday, a 24-year-old Brandon Drive woman reported that someone shot her cat. The incident, police said, remains under investigation.
- On Thursday, a Strosky Road residence called 9-1-1 requesting police. The male caller then hung up. Upon arrival police located a 34-year-old Glen Richey man who had a warrant out for his arrest. He told police that he was “tired of running.” Police verified the warrant and transported him to jail.
