Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – And just when you thought you have officially let go (pun intended) of Frozen, Disney Animation Studios has just announced that they are working on a sequel of the hit movie.

The whole gang will be back but Disney said that it would only be an animated short and not another whole movie.

The short was said to be entitled “Frozen Fever” and it was first hinted on Tuesday during the ABC special called “The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic”.

The official announcement came a day after along with what the fans will expect about the sequel.

Disney said in a statement that the plot will be focused on Anna’s birthday. Basically, Queen Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf would be doing whatever it takes to make Anna’s special day a great one. However, Queen Elsa’s powers will be affecting their productivity in many ways.

The Oscar-winning hit animated film was about then Princess Elsa trying to conquer her fear of controlling her powers. Her sister Anna’s memory of Elsa having powers has been magically zapped out from her brain due to safety reasons. The two sisters then helped each other to break the spell Queen Elsa casted.

Anyway, the original directors of the film, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will still be the ones directing the sequel and they said that they intended to make the film short. Also, Peter Del Vecho, the movie’s producer, will be back with the gang.

Another original song will again be composed by the duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Their song “Let It Go” has been very viral and it even won the Academy Award for Original Song. Fans are now expecting what the husband-and-wife would be preparing to be another hit song.

The actors and actresses who will be voicing the main characters have not been announced yet. Fans are not yet sure if Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad will still be in the sequel.
