Recognizing and Treating Depression Program Offered by Tyrone Center

TYRONE – The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center will provide a free, educational program entitled  “Recognizing and Treating Depression.”

The program will be presented by John McIntosh, Ed.D., LPC, CAADC, a licensed professional counselor and certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor at Tyrone Regional Health Network.

Those who attend the program will learn about acute versus chronic depression, Seasonal Affective Disorder and natural versus medical approaches to treat and prevent depression.

The program will be held Sept. 10 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the main lobby at the new Tyrone Health & Wellness Building located on the Tyrone Regional Health Network campus at 154 Hospital Dr., Tyrone.

The program is free and open to the public. RSVP is requested as seating is limited.  To reserve your seat or for more information, please call the Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center at 814-684-2117.
