Kansas City, KS, United States (4E Sports) – Headers by David Horst and Ricardo Clark produced the winning margin as the Houston Dynamo blasted Sporting Kansas City, 3-1 Friday at Sporting Park.
In the 35th minute, Will Bruin received a pass from Kofi Sarkodie and slotted in the ball to give the Dynamo a 1-0 lead.
Danny Feilhaber rushed past Dynamo defenders to feed Dominic Dwyer who nailed a goal to equalize the game in the 54th minute.
David Horst, who was left unmarked during a penalty, headed in Brad Davis’ free kick to make it 2-1 for the Dynamo in the 62nd minute.
Five minutes later, the Daynamo lead increased to 3-1 when Ricardo Clark ran onto Brad Davis’ free kick and knocked in a header over Aurelien Collin and past Jon Kempin.
