Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – In a recent appearance in the appeared on the “Today” show, Jennifer Aniston, 45, has reiterated that her “value as a woman” isn’t centered on motherhood or marriage to her fiancé, Justin Theroux of nearly two years.

“I don’t have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done,” she said during the interview. “And … if they’re not checked, then I’ve failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman because I haven’t birthed a child.”

In February this year, Aniston spoke the same words during her Q & A with feminist Gloria Steinem at the WomenOne MAKERS Conference.

Aniston told Carson Daly of “Today Show,”: “Just because it is such an issue of, like, ‘Are you married yet? Are you going to have your babies yet?’…. I’ve birthed a lot of things, and I feel like I’ve mothered many things. And I don’t feel like it’s fair to put that pressure on people,” as she discussed the media’s obsession with her decisions regarding marriage and have a baby.

It is rumored that her refusal towards motherhood was the reason why she and Brad Pitt divorced in 2005. Pitt has just recently married Angelina Jolie and the couple has six children.
