Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – The current online charity trend, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Awareness that began since July this year, is great timing and coincidence for the new movie titled, “You’re Not You,” a drama that centers its theme around the disease. Starring Hillary Swank, the movie that wrapped up shooting in December 2012 has just released its first trailer.

Directed by George C. Wolfe (Angels in America: Millennium Approaches) and written by Jordan Roberts and Shana Feste, “You’re Not You,” is based on a novel of the same name by Michelle Wildgen.

The movie is a dramatic story about a classical pianist played by Hillary Swank who is immobilized by ALS and hires a young, aimless college student to be her caregiver, played by Emmy Rossum. The story revolves around their relationship and how they both change each other’s outlook in life.

Set to be theatrically released in October, the cast also includes Loretta Devine, Ernie Hudson, Frances Fisher, Marcia Gay Harden, Ali Larter, Jason Ritter, Julian McMahon and Andrea Savage.
