Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Robert Downey Jr.’s son, Indio, who was arrested back in June after police saw him smoking something out of a pipe while riding on the passenger side of a car, had his arraignment moved.

The delay of his arraignment is due to the 20-year-old still being in rehab receiving treatment.

Downey’s son is facing several charges, including possession of controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. According to his attorney, Indio is doing well in the rehabilitation facility and is due back in court in the next month.

In a report from TMZ, Downey apparently thanked the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, referring to his son’s arrest as “their intervention.”

The actor, best known for playing Ironman, has struggled with the same problem for a bulk of his adult life and overcame it in what can be considered as one of Hollywood’s most impressive success stories against addiction.
