praying_cowboy_familyCLEARFIELD – Jim Knepp and Friends, a group of musicians and vocalists who have been together for nearly 15 years, will perform Friday at the Corner Concert Series.

The group’s music has been described as country/gospel with a 1950’s rock flavor. Pastor Ernie Simmers plays keyboards and provides vocals; he also performs some original songs with the group.

Lew Wisor plays bass, Shawn Evans keeps the beat and Scott Mills provides vocals, as well. Knepp has been playing guitar and performing with different ministries for more than 55 years.

Steve Albert, Corner Concert Series founder and organizer, would like to invite the entire community to this weekly event. Music will get under way at 7 p.m. at Shaw Park across from the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library in downtown Clearfield.
