Minneapolis, MN, United States (4E Sports) – Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor thinks Kevin Love’s poor defense will be evident when he plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“I think where maybe he got away with some stuff not playing defense on our team, I’m not sure that’s how it’s going to work in Cleveland,” said Taylor.
He anticipates that the Cavs will ask him to play more defense and he’ll be committing many fouls.
Taylor also said that he has concerns about Love’s health, having twice broken his hand and costing him to miss most of the 2012-13 season.
He added that while Love will get the blame when they don’t play well, he will not be getting a lot of credit if they are successful since he’s “around a couple guys that are awful good.”
“I question Kevin if this is going to be the best deal for him because I think he’s going to be the third player on the team,” Taylor said.
