Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – After this year’s summer blockbusters, movie goers are now itching get a glimpse of their favorite Hollywood stars in some of this year’s most anticipated films coming out this fall.
The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby
Expected out in September, the film has already completed the obligatory festival rounds and was met with acclaim. The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, featuring James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain, is the collective title of Ned Benson’s heart wrenching drama composed of three separate movies (Him, Her and Them), which will be screened for the public as one film.
The Sundance hit is slated for a September release, where we are expected to see comedic actors Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader cross over into drama. Watch out for the starring couple to perform a lip-sync performance of Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.”
The Maze Runner
Expected in mid-September, The Maze Runner is based on a massively popular young adult novel that features the formula for box office success—teenagers trying to survive a dystopian future.
This is Where I Leave You
Another mid-September movie release, the comedy-drama film is based on the book by the same name written by Jonathan Tropper, who also penned the screenplay. Featuring an all-star cast, brace yourself for exceptional performances from Tina Fey, Conni Britton, Rose Byrne, Kathryn Hahn and Jane Fonda.
Expected to come out at the latter end of September, The Equalizer sees Academy Award winner Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua working together once again, since their Oscar winning collaboration (for Training Day).
