Seattle, WA, United States (NewsBahn) – The Seattle Seahawks and team coach Pete Carroll have reportedly been fined over $300K for violating practice rules.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell learned of the rule-breaking and has also docked the team two double-practices in 2015 for having contact drills during the offseason when they are barred.

Neither the league nor the defending Super Bowl champions would comment on the situation.

The Seahawks were fined in 2012 for a similar violation for reportedly breaking a rule put in place through collective bargaining the previous year.
